    child not living at home

My daughter, who will be 17 in june, moved out of her mothers about two months ago. Neither of them appears to have any inclination to resove their differences and begin living with each other again.  Am I still bound to pay child support for the next year even though she no longer lives at home?

Re: child not living at home

First off you will need to contact a lawyer in your area, to at least get papers drawn up to show that the child is living with you now, in most areas, if the child chooses a different parent, then child support changes. You should not have to in the information I have read over and posted on child support, but contacting a lawyer is your safe zone, that way she can not get you for back pay on child support, when the child is living with you.
