ammendment to divorce

Prior to being divorced, i had a court order for maintenance and support. The order was never cancelled after or during my divorce. This order is still standing. How can I stop this order? It affects my military retirement.

You will need to contact the lawyer if possible that drew up the order. Is this alimony you are paying? Sometimes they are to be paid for a certain amount of time, do you still have your papers on it....if you are wanted to get the support cancelled, you are going to have to contact a lawyer to do so, and have proof that if it is alimony, that your ex spouse is no longer in need of it.
