She has finally agreed to a divorce on the condition that he pay her $200 a month. She has been living just fine without spousal support prior to now. They have not even seen each other since he left. My boyfriend has recently gone back to school full time, is on unemployment and has taken out school loans to support himself. Is there anyway, she can be awarded alimony in this case?

Additionally, she is on permanent disability and raises and breed show dogs that we don't think she reports the income for. He left her with everything - all of their joint property and isn't asking for anything to be awarded to him.

Please advise.

Thanks so much

(what!!!! i'm sorry go get a job! my husband goes to work everyday to support his kid and 2 that are not, why can't my ex be made to go get a job!) why would they allow him to get away with producing all theses children he can't support.. then saying aww i'm sorry your not working let me just not let you pay for your children! what if my husband did support my children, how would my kids eat? sorry if i sound very upset, i just don't think its fair that he can get off that easy.

thanks

I got a divorce a year ago because my exwife cheated on me and had a baby which she lied saying it was mine. DNA test showed the contrary. She wants to reopen the case because on one of the divorce questions it asked if any children were born during marriage and we both put no because the kid wasnt' mine. Can she reopen the case and if so will i be affected?
