Information On Michigan Divorce.

Michigan divorce tends to be one of the easier states to get a divorce in.  For one most states you must live in the state and the county for a specific amount of time and then you can file for divorce, so Michigan is one of the states for the least amount of time and can make it easier, if you are just needing to move to a different county before you file for divorce.  You only have  to live in the county for 10 days before filing for divorce, but the state 180 days.  So there  is a simplicity if you are wanting to make a move before filing for the divorce.

Divorce in Michigan is referred to as the dissolution of marriage.  And then here we are pretty simple on grounds for divorce in Michigan.

*Irreconcilable differences...simply stating the the marriage breakdown and there is no want to continue, resulting in divorce. As with some states, there may be a list of grounds...but in Michigan stops a bashing of each other in the divorce process.

The divorce process begins in Michigan  as most states, when one spouse files for divorce and the other spouse is served and given a reasonable amount of time to respond to the divorce papers.  The other simplicity just like most states, if everyone is in agreement of the divorce.  Along with debt division, property division, child support, child custody,  then the divorce can be settled and finalized out of divorce court.....if there is any disagreement at all then a trial date for the divorce will be set.
