Mistakes Made In A Divorce.
First off I want to take a moment to wish everyone a happy 4th of July and hope that where ever you are, that things go safe and happy wither your getting a divorce, helping a friend, or enjoying family time together, Happy 4TH OF JULY. So with that I kind of wanted to do a blog today that was helpful. We should be so thankful for so many things, even though we may not understand what's going on in our lives, even divorce. Life can get confusing but, always remember this and I try to live by it in the darkest of times, when one door closes.....a window will open. So hold tight if your having a bad day, bad days are getting a divorce to, they are not an easy time. So just hold tight, and realize there are beautiful things to live for, family, friends, dew drops on flowers in the morning, and birds singing their hearts out. Put a smile on your face :)
So with all that being said let me get to the point of this divorce blog. I wanted to have a helpful day and kind of run down a list of what mistakes people make especially if they are rushing through a divorce, so take time look over this list if you are in the divorce process and make sure your not doing these mistakes in your divorce.
1. A lot of people getting a divorce do not asses the property they own, they do not really walk around assess it, so that they do not really know what's being split in the divorce, have you missed land you own? Have you missed certain assets? Make sure you LOOK at what you own!
2. People in a divorce to not find someone they can talk to and keep things bottled up, talk to a therapist or even a friend you can trust, ITS IMPORTANT!
3. Be careful with taxes and pay attention to them, a lot of people get a divorce and then receive a tax bill as far as years down the road!
4. Some spouses getting a divorce think they will be super generous with the other spouse in hopes of getting them back. Do not do that, get your even split, if your getting a divorce, chances are if they did come back, its not gonna work the second time around.
5. Said it once I will say it again, FIND A GOOD DIVORCE LAWYER, do your research!
6. Make sure your not letting your divorce lawyer, be spending time doing things like gathering information you could be doing!
