The divorce courts also take a huge look at the age and the over all health of the spouse, length of marriage can come into play with this factor a lot, although all factors can be calculated together, but these 2 sometimes go hand in hand, especially if it has been a lengthy marriage, older spouses and probably have a difficult time returning to the work force.
4. The divorce courts are going to look at the vocational and the employment skills of each spouse and how easily they can return to the work force, is schooling going to be needed to return to the work force for a good job to be able to support oneself and possibly kids?
5, The divorce courts then look at the spouses assets and debts they are getting in the divorce, believe me this can play a huge roll in alimony.
6. The divorce courts also look at if any of the spouses have specific medical or health needs.
7. The divorce courts look at the future income for each spouse, do they have a chance to better at jobs? Get raises?
