Alimony Variations...Alaska

Every state is different on how it handles divorce, alimony, child support.  There are certain guidelines for every state, even though states can be similar to one another, they are pretty much all different in how they handle things.  Such as Alaska, alimony after a divorce can be paid to either spouse, in the divorce.  Where most states it is the wife that receives alimony, Alaska varies that in either spouse can receive alimony.  I would say in certain circumstances that alimony could go either way in state to state, but this is wrote up in Alaska's alimony guidelines.

So here is a few factors on Alaska's alimony guidelines after a divorce and even during the divorce process, alimony can be set to allow either spouse to get back on their feet.

6.    Alaska also looks at if money was used unreasonable during the marriage, and if it is one of the causes for the divorce, is that one spouse spent unreasonable.

7.    Which spouse took care of the children, were they the home maker. Also they will want to know how much work experience you have before the divorce, if you can make enough money to support yourself after the divorce
