ChildSupport

Florida Child Support.

Florida child support is similar to most states.  The child support is going to be based on how much both parents bring in financially.  Child support is for the care of your child; clothing, home, food, and any other thing that is going to the care and happiness of your children, etc.  It is sad to see most parents that have to pay child support do put up a huge fuss on when it comes to what the child support will be going for.  The way I look at it is, if it is something that is going to make your child happy and healthy, there should be no fuss and a parent should want to help provide those things, within mean.  The health of your child also is mental and physical, so if there is something your child does like to do, wither it be sports or music; there should not be a problem if child support is helping go towards those things.  In Florida, the courts can have a portion of the child support set in an account for future support of your child, wither this be schooling or future needs.   Florida child support can be reduced or increased if there are any major changes in both parents’ lives.  Child support is for the care of your children, but it should also not put anybody in a financial jeopardy, we want to see people not have to struggle on either end.  So here is a list of what can change the increase and the decrease in child support in Florida.
  1. If either of the parents have had a major decrease an increase in their income, wither they have got a raise in pay or switched jobs and that has caused an increase or a decrease in pay, then child support can be modified
  2. If the child or children are spending more time with either parent, there should be a modification in child support, if they are living more with one parent.
  3. The child support can be increased and decreased if there are certain medical or schooling needs that come into play.  Everything will be reviewed to see if and where there needs to be an increase and decrease.
In all honestly it is good for both parents to get along, remember if you are together, you both are going to be paying for your child to be healthy and happy, so take a moment to look at it that way, child support is just that, you taking care of your child.  If parents get a long child support seems to go smoother.  Sometimes it is good to receive some kind of counseling for the entire family; everybody needs to get along, that is child support too.

My son was born in December of 2004.  I still do NOT have a child support order.  Can I sue the Osceola County Department of Revenue for negligence.  Is there an attorney out there who will represent the case?  Somebody needs to be held responsible!

Remember your first consultation with most lawyers is free, research a few in your area.  Looking at that you should be able to do something!
