Utah Child Support.
Utah child support is in ways like a couple other states, but very different.  Child support in Utah both parents may have to pay a share of child support, most the time courts order that child support is shared by both parents.  Child support in Utah also includes medical bills, dental bills, and also health care insurances.  Child support is for the care of your child.  Most the time the non custodial parent pays child support while the custodial parent is the one the child stays with most of the time.  Although the child support for medical, dental and health insurance can be split between both parents, it is better when parents can get along to make this decision on child support; otherwise the courts will set who pays what and when.  There are certain child support guidelines that Utah goes by on parents paying child support, one the child support amount should never be unfair on either parent and never put either parent into a financial jeopardy, so here is a look at some guidelines on how child support is determined by the courts, on who pays the child support, who receives and in cases how both parents pay child support.
  1. The living of each parent is evaluated, the living situation, the standard of living. This is determined on how much child support is paid a lot of times and how much, if the custodial parent has a job where their standard of living will be above the non custodial, they may end up paying more in the medical area and health insurance of the child.
  2. The wealth of each parent and their families, if there is a huge wealth within the family, child support can be higher for that parent.
  3. Job factors, which parent makes more and or has the potential to better themselves in other jobs, if the non custodial makes more then the custodial, they will have a higher amount of what child support is to be paid and possibly the medical, and insurance.
  4. Certain needs for parents or child, if either one has certain needs, even medical needs, child support is based upon that, if one parent has medical needs they need to pay for them or the child, this is taken into play on the amount of child support paid by both.
  5. The age of the children and the parents is taken into how much child support will be paid.
  6. If one of the parents is also already paying child support for another family, this is taken into play on how much child support is to be paid in another family, and can affect the child support amount in the other family.
Child support in Utah can be modified at anytime, if certain things change in life, wither it be job or medical or living standards, this is all taken into play on child support and will be modified if needed.  No family should be put into a financial jeopardy when it comes to paying child support, but children should be taken care of.

Maine Child Support And Custody.
We have discussed information on several of the states child support.  Each state falls a little different on how and when child support should be paid and how much child support should be paid.  In Maine the child support is set on and based on different guidelines.  How much is to be paid depends a lot on how much both parents make.  In Maine if both parents are in agreement with the shared parental rights then most the time the courts will allow the parents to discuss who and when and where the child will be staying most of the time, child support is also based on where the child will be most of the time.  On which parent pays the child support.  If the parents are in no agreement and are fighting on who the child will be placed with and visitation rights, then the courts decide on the child stays, visitation of other parent, and with and who pays the child support.  Here is a list of how the courts determine who and why they child will be placed with a certain parent and child support.
  1. A lot determines on how old the child is.
  2. How the parents get along with the child, and each other.
  3. Who the child would most like to be with.
  4. Housing for the child, care and how the child would live, looking at the parents living arrangements.
  5. How the parents interact with the child on attention, love and guidance.
  6. Schooling, will the child be pulled away from a school he or she has been enrolled in for a long period of time.
There are others, but these are the major areas the courts look into on who the child will be living with and where child support comes into play Child support in Maine can be paid a little differently; it is either how the parents agree or if the courts agree on this area of when and how child support is paid.  In Maine child support can be paid, by the week, monthly, or even quarterly payments of child support can be set up.  Child support is to be paid for the child until the reach the age of eighteen, unless the child has not graduated from high school, this can prolong child support being paid for a longer period of time.  Child support can be modified if there is certain changes, these changes can be, the child wanting to live with the other parent, a change in job, or location etc…

Idaho Child Support.
Every state is different in handling child support, why some may be similar; each state has its own rules and regulations to how and when child support is paid.  In Idaho child support can be can order both parents to pay child support, each parent must set aside money just for the child, even if the child is with one parent more, even though the rate would be adjusted for that.  In Idaho child support is paid until the child is 18 years of age, most the time unless the child has not graduated and child support can be paid up until the child is 19 years of age.  The child support court will look at different factors for the parents paying child support, and who will pay the most.  In some cases both parents do not have to pay child support, just one parent will have to do so, but here is a list of child support information for Idaho and how the amount is made reasonable for both parents.
  1. The needs of the child, if there is any special education or special needs of the child or children for child support.
  2. The needs of both parents, how financially stable and job, the amount that each parent makes at their job, this is also determined in the amount of child support to be paid.
  3. The standard of living that the children had during the marriage, this is also determined in setting the amount of child support.
  4. The physical and emotional conditions of the child, and future educational needs, are determined in setting the amount of child support.
  5. Medical needs and cost for children, this is determined in setting your child support amount.
  6. Another thing that is looked into is who will be receiving the tax benefit for the child or children, this is also determined in setting your child support amount.
At any time the child support courts can modify your child support along with visitation and custody. Child support can be modified due to material changes, job changes, and life changes.  Child support is always taken in the best interest of the child, but families will not be put into financial burden, all aspects are looked at along with the standard of living of each parent and how they are surviving in the world.  Child support is for the care of your child or children.  Moving out of the state of Idaho can cause some modifications in child support also, depending on how far you are moving and travel expenses for visitation of the non custodial parent.

Georgia Child Support.
Georgia child support is going to be paid by the non custodial parent, this means the parent that usually only has the children for a certain amount of time, wither it be every other weekend or visitations throughout the year, the custodial parent who receives the child support for the children, is the parent that the children reside with most of the time.  Child support in Georgia is based upon the gross income of the non custodial parent.  Child support percentage is based upon, the amount the non custodial parent makes, and how many children they are supporting.  In Georgia this is how it is based upon, with children.
  1. For one child it’s going to be 17-23% of your gross income, for child support.
  2. For two children it’s going to be 23-28% of your gross income, for child support.
  3. For three children it’s gong to be 25-32% of your gross income, for child support.
  4. For four children it’s going to be 29-35% of your gross income, for child support.
  5. For five or more children you will be paying 31-37% of your gross income, for child support.
Now on another note, there are other circumstances in child support being paid and how much.  Especially for more children, the court can adjust child support up or down with certain factors, here is a list of a few factors that can affect child support in Georgia.
  1. In many cases especially if we are dealing with many children in child support, the ages of the children are taken into factor, there needs at that time and how much they cost.
  2. If the child has been in an accident or has medical cost that require the custodial parent to be put in any financial jeopardy, the insurance cost and medical cost are taken into play for how much child support will be paid.
  3. Education cost for the child or children.
  4. If there is daycare required for both parents to work.
  5. If there is more of a shared custody of the children, this takes a play in child support, if the children are spending an equal amount of time at both parents, then the child support will be adjusted.
  6. If a non custodial parent is also paying on other children in another household, child support can be adjusted for both families.
  7. If income of either parent has been increased or decreased, child support can be readjusted for this.
  8. There is also an IN KIND income for the self employed, this is monitored and adjusted to pay child support.
  9. If the cost of living goes up, then child support can raise also.
  10. If there is any high travel expenses for the children.  That also comes into play with child support.
There are several other factors that can come into play with child support modification.  In Georgia the child support order can be modified at any time, if the parents agree on child support modification there will not be any need for a trial in child support court, if the parents do not agree with each other, then a trial date will be set to modify the child support.

Hawaii Child Support.
As I have said, each state has its own way of handling child support issues.  Each state has its own set of guidelines it goes by on how child support is paid.  Child support is for the care of your children, many people forget that.  Here is the set of guidelines that Hawaii goes by in determining how much child support is and how child support is paid.
  1. Both parents’ incomes are looked and researched in determining how much child support will be paid.
  2. The parents borrowing capacity, how much each parent can borrow, it shows the credit of both parents, and how well they are able to care for themselves and others.  This also determines how much child support will be paid.
  3. The specific needs of each child, in paying the child support.  Is there any special needs, schooling or medical needs.
  4. Is there any public need for the child, wither day care or a babysitter.  Child support will need to be for these things also.
  5. Are there any other dependents that the paying parent also has to take care of, other children that are not by this mother?
  6. The standard of living also needs to be balanced for both parents; there is never any need to pace any parent below a poverty level in paying child support.
  7. If a parent has been a stay at home mom or father.
I believe it is also important for parents to work together on all these factors, on paying child support.  If a parent has been a stay at home mother or father, they will have to be given time to reenter the work force, it is always nice when parents will work together. Child support of course can be increased and decreased at any time.  Here are the factors determined if child support will be increased or decreased in Hawaii.
  1. If the parent that is paying child support has lost a job, received a raise or job with higher or lower pay.  Then child support can be increased or decreased.
  2. If the parent receiving the child support has lost a job, received a raise or job with higher or lower pay, again the child support can also be increased or decreased. *NOTE* this is where not putting any parent at poverty level, comes in to play on both of these.
Working together throughout life’s problems, on child support issues can save time and money.  Going back to court can be costly.  A reminder that parents should work together if just for their children.

Florida Child Support.
Florida child support is similar to most states.  The child support is going to be based on how much both parents bring in financially.  Child support is for the care of your child; clothing, home, food, and any other thing that is going to the care and happiness of your children, etc.  It is sad to see most parents that have to pay child support do put up a huge fuss on when it comes to what the child support will be going for.  The way I look at it is, if it is something that is going to make your child happy and healthy, there should be no fuss and a parent should want to help provide those things, within mean.  The health of your child also is mental and physical, so if there is something your child does like to do, wither it be sports or music; there should not be a problem if child support is helping go towards those things.  In Florida, the courts can have a portion of the child support set in an account for future support of your child, wither this be schooling or future needs.   Florida child support can be reduced or increased if there are any major changes in both parents’ lives.  Child support is for the care of your children, but it should also not put anybody in a financial jeopardy, we want to see people not have to struggle on either end.  So here is a list of what can change the increase and the decrease in child support in Florida.
  1. If either of the parents have had a major decrease an increase in their income, wither they have got a raise in pay or switched jobs and that has caused an increase or a decrease in pay, then child support can be modified
  2. If the child or children are spending more time with either parent, there should be a modification in child support, if they are living more with one parent.
  3. The child support can be increased and decreased if there are certain medical or schooling needs that come into play.  Everything will be reviewed to see if and where there needs to be an increase and decrease.
In all honestly it is good for both parents to get along, remember if you are together, you both are going to be paying for your child to be healthy and happy, so take a moment to look at it that way, child support is just that, you taking care of your child.  If parents get a long child support seems to go smoother.  Sometimes it is good to receive some kind of counseling for the entire family; everybody needs to get along, that is child support too.
